| Volunteering ... crossing continents hospice information, a joint venture between St Christopher's Hospice and Help the Hospices, is the UK resource on national and international palliative care. Using our links and professional contacts with hospice and palliative care services across six continents of the world, we may be able to help you develop volunteering opportunities with services worldwide. Many experienced palliative care workers and other health professionals have built lasting links with hospices and palliative care services throughout the world by sharing their skills and experience for a short visit or longer placement. Although we do not undertake to co-ordinate volunteer placements, we are very happy to help you make those preliminary introductions and to provide an information pack with some helpful ideas, contacts and publications.
